I designed these three Star Wars/Judy Blume book covers last night while I was looking for something -- anything! -- to do to delay editing my novel. (I ended up editing over 1000 words, so eventually I DID get to work.) The covers I ended up with made me laugh, so I'm posting them here for your enjoyment. Let me know what you think!

Very funny! I loved the little blurb above Han's head. The funny, touching story of a boy with problems. Perfect fit.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tim! Judy Blume was one of my favorite authors as a child, and since Star Wars is my favorite movie, I just felt it was time for the two to be combined! :-)
ReplyDeleteHilarious Scott! I love the collaboration; I mean what is more logical that combining Judy Blume and Star Wars? Your procrastination is a lot more fun than mine (laundry, etc.).
ReplyDeleteMegan, if I have laundry I should be doing, then I procrastinate by editing. It's the more enjoyable of two evils ;-)
ReplyDeletei do love these!
ReplyDeletethey made me laugh..thanks,as I needed one!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these! I'm a Star Wars fan. ;) Too funny!
ReplyDeleteAnn - Glad you like them!
ReplyDeleteCherie - Great to hear from you! Ironic too, because I was just over at your site earlier today checking out your blog's makeover. It looks great!
These are fantastic! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I think Blubber is my favorite. Nice procrastination work!
ReplyDeleteThese are brilliant, you have a twisted mind. I love it :-)
ReplyDeleteLol! Very awesome, a brilliant man you are.
ReplyDeleteYou win the "Mash-Up Most Representative of My Childhood" award.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Glad you enjoyed them! And Darsa, thanks for my Mash-Up Award, lol!
ReplyDeleteOh, what us writers won't do to avoid editing. Great job. They all made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteLove them, Scott! So vary talented, you are. Whew...that came out rather "Yoda-ish" :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Teresa! And sounding like Yoda is always a good thing! :-)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! If not for the copyright issues, this could actually work in a 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' type of way.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd why is that we are always looking for ways to procrastinate? I think it's in writer's DNA. Heck, sometimes I'll even do dishes to put it off lol
Welp, this made my night!
