Star Wars Re-imagined as Judy Blume Books

I designed these three Star Wars/Judy Blume book covers last night while I was looking for something -- anything! -- to do to delay editing my novel. (I ended up editing over 1000 words, so eventually I DID get to work.) The covers I ended up with made me laugh, so I'm posting them here for your enjoyment. Let me know what you think!

Blubber   Pin It

Otherwise Known as Leia the Great   Pin It

Then Again, Maybe I Won't   Pin It

  1. Very funny! I loved the little blurb above Han's head. The funny, touching story of a boy with problems. Perfect fit.

  2. Thanks, Tim! Judy Blume was one of my favorite authors as a child, and since Star Wars is my favorite movie, I just felt it was time for the two to be combined! :-)

  3. Hilarious Scott! I love the collaboration; I mean what is more logical that combining Judy Blume and Star Wars? Your procrastination is a lot more fun than mine (laundry, etc.).

  4. Megan, if I have laundry I should be doing, then I procrastinate by editing. It's the more enjoyable of two evils ;-)

  16. Hilarious! If not for the copyright issues, this could actually work in a 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' type of way.

  17. Too funny!

And why is that we are always looking for ways to procrastinate? I think it's in writer's DNA. Heck, sometimes I'll even do dishes to put it off lol
