I've added this meter to inspire me to make steady progress on my novel. I've tried this out this week at the beach, and it really is motivational to see that meter moving closer and closer to my target word count. Plus, I expect to hear from my peers (i.e., you) if the meter stops moving for an extended period of time. Peer pressure is a wonderful thing!
